Hi Everyone! Welcome to AP Tuesday!
Get ready…I’m gonna brag.
I GOT SO MUCH DONE THIS LAST WEEK!
I felt pretty good physically, and got bitten by a major organization bug. You should see our trash pile outside waiting for the trash man–it is insanely huge but makes me smile! I think the holidays, my upcoming mastectomy, and the unknowns that cancer brings that is motivating me. I never know when my health could take an unexpected turn, as I have learned from reading other peoples journey with breast cancer. There are so many ups and downs on the road to recovery, so when I am feeling good I want to get stuff done!
Christmas is on my mind, I am finished Christmas shopping, except for a few more gifts for our girls, which can be ordered from Amazon. I have half of the gifts wrapped. I just couldn’t bear to think that my husband would get stuck with it all if I ended up getting too sick, so I got busy! Told ya I’ve been on a roll!!:)
I wish I would have taken more pics for you all, as I cleaned out a major closet and an area in my basement that would have had great before and afters! I’ve been tackling drawers and file cabinets. This house has never been more organized!
Now, I must tell you, I have only been able to do all this because:
1. I am home A LOT!
2. I have meals being made for me and delivered by people at my church-this frees up energy and time.
3. I have a cleaning lady coming once a week, which is another thing that frees up time and energy.
If I had to cook and do the deep cleaning, I would never be able to do all I have done!
Ok, on to YOU!

I like her suggestion of taking what you notice that needs done, putting it on a Master Chore List, then gradually filtering into your Weekly Chore List.
I loved this post! So many great, great, parenting reminders that are easy to forget! Kelly, you’ve done it again, written a wonderful post that got the attention of many of my readers according to the click count!

This is so cute! Look at those little feet and hand prints. Love.
This idea is great and I plan on using it in many different ways. She took tissue paper, and using a heat gun, warmed up the wax until the tissue stuck. I have a local specialty store that has some of the most beautiful printed tissue paper, sold by the sheet. Think of the custom candles I could make! Now to find a heat gun to borrow…
All right, let’s get to linking!
Looking forward to seeing what you all have been up to!!

November 16, 2010 at 6:03 amYou are truly an amazing woman and such an inspiration to us all. I got into such a funk this fall and everything has just been falling to pieces. I am slowly picking them back up now, but I think it was the exhaustion from Sofie being sick all summer that just took me out. She is still fighting to stay healthy and we will have to monitor her blood for the next few years probably.
Don’t wear yourself out now and enjoy your time with your girls.
