Weekly Update
I’ve been hit by the spring cleaning bug! The problem is, I need to organize and declutter before I can do deep cleaning. Well, today is the day. The sun is shining and I am finally motivated to hit an area of our home that just keeps collecting clutter.
We have a landing area in our upstairs. I have to walk through it to get to my bedroom, and it is a disaster. I have not been able to clear it completely since we cleaned out our office room and gave it to our oldest daughter, Teagan.
She needed some extra space, and as the office was connected to her room, it made sense to give up our home office. She now has both rooms and I now have a whole bunch of clutter from our old office that I must get rid of or find a new home for.
Ya’ll. I cannot wait to have this DONE. I would do a before and after picture, but seriously, I am too prideful! It is that bad.
I sent a photo to my sister over Snapchat and she laughed at me. {Insert laughy face emoji here}
Ugh, why oh why do I procrastinate? I’m going to obey my own free printable below and Be Encouraged, Be Inspired, and GET SOMETHING DONE!

Favorite Things
Vitamix Professional Series Brushed Silver
We use the amazing Vitamix kitchen appliance several times a day. Our whole family uses it and I really can’t imagine not having a high-speed blender! We use it for smoothies and making homemade almond butter, pureeing soups and making homemade salad dressings.
Whole Earth Stevia + Monk Fruit Sweetener
I first tried this Whole Earth Sweetener when I ordered an iced green tea at Starbucks. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a healthy sugar substitute. I have struggled with stevia because it tastes bitter to me, so when I saw that this brand added monk fruit to it, I was hopeful.
Let me tell you, I love this! No bitterness. It is so sweet that I only use half a package. I bought some on Amazon and I know these little packets will last me a long time! So easy to throw in my purse!
Burt Bees Natural Tinted Lip Moisturizer
I have been having more days where I keep a full face of makeup off, and just put essential oils on my face for a healthy natural glow.
This Burt Bees Natural Tinted Lip Moisturizer is great lip balm and has just a hint of color. On bare face days, if I’m feeling a bit pale and tired I will even use a touch of this lip moisturizer on my cheeks as a quick cream blush.
Paderno Veggie Spiralizer
I will have some posts coming up to show you how we have been spiralizing using the Paderno Veggie Spiralizer and eating a rainbow of veg! In the meantime, follow along on Instagram, and check out my ‘food prep’ highlights. You will see examples of me spiralizing away, and see how pretty it all looks stored in jars in my refrigerator.

Essential Oil Recipe of The Week
Rocky Mountain Oils are my oils of choice. I just love them–their scent is so pure and I really appreciate the free shipping!
Focus Blend
This week my featured essential oils blend recipe is a bit different. It is for a roller bottle instead of a diffuser. I love rolling this on my wrists or temples when I need some extra focus while working.
5 drops Peppermint
5 drops Orange
Carrier oil of choice.
Put drops in a 10 ml roller bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with a carrier oil of choice – jojoba oil, almond oil, fractionated coconut oil, grapeseed oil etc). I used jojoba oil. Add top of the bottle and shake to mix. Roll away (on temples, neck, wrists or behind ears) when focus is needed.
Need a diffuser? This is my fav essential oils diffuser!
