I don’t have time to post, but wanted to share these awesome photos with you. They are of a soldier, coming home to his wife and darling 5 month old girl, one whom he has never met! I loved looking at them, they made me misty eyed! They are at a photography website called Flourish Studio. Enjoy!

March 31, 2010 at 4:31 pmSarah-you should do a post on adoptaplatoon and your experience. that would be very cool.
Jen and Sarah N-you both are such strong women and I admire you greatly. I am thankful for those who are willing to sacrifice for their country, those sent out and those left behind. I think of that often and I am grateful..
Denise-would love for you to share anything you find on my blog, especially this. Tell your cousin we are grateful for her family and what they are willing to go through for the sake of our country. blessings to her and her little one!

March 25, 2010 at 6:45 pmthank you for sharing this! homecoming is such a special time, especially when meeting a son or daughter for the first time! we’re getting ready to go through a similar situation – my soldier is set to leave 6 days before my due date. we’re hoping she doesn’t believe in schedules and chooses to come in time to meet her daddy!

March 25, 2010 at 10:57 amOMG, Amy…I can’t tell you how overjoyed I was to watch and see this. She may not be ready for it but I’m gonna share with my cousin who is in Massachusetts longing for her soldier boy to see their new born son. Summer is close but not close enough for them.
I hope it is ok for me to share the post because it will encourage her heart.

I am so excited about THAT…I can’t imagine the excitement of coming home to meet a new baby after a full deployment!! Stunning photos that they will treasure forever. Thanks so much for sharing!
