It feels like FOREVER since I last posted! The kids were home on spring break, and we were gone all weekend at a conference, so I have not had time to get on this computer! I do not realize how much I love to write until I don’t have the time to.
I hope you all have had a great week! Mine went well. There was a morning this week when the kids were all home, that I would love to have the chance to “redo,” but I’m thankful for forgiveness and truly enjoyed time with them this week. We kept busy with dentist appointments (thanks, Luke!), visits with family, celebrating my baby turning 7 with a “Paint Yourself Silly” party, and even had a couple days warm enough to go to the park!
This weekend, my husband and I had the opportunity (thanks to his job) to go to “A Weekend To Remember” conference. Have any of you been to one? It is a Christian marriage conference that consists of wonderful speakers, a date night with your spouse, and the opportunity to write/receive a love letter to/from your spouse. So much fun! We really enjoyed the time together, and felt like it was a great “refresher” for our marriage. We are 13 years into this thing called marriage, so it was great to be able to look over the years and see such growth (only by God’s great grace!) It gave us reassurance that we are on the right path, and reaffirmed our priorities. Todd is truly God’s perfect gift to me! I’m pretty excited about some of the things that were talked about, so there probably will be some posts on marriage coming up!
