My Garden Progress and Whitney Farms Organic & Natural Plant Food

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Whitney Farms for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s the season of gardening and my square foot garden is well on its way!  I had my very first harvest of the season yesterday, some amazing radishes, and I was pretty much giddy about it!

Just weeks ago I planted radish, spinach, kale, swiss chard & lettuce seeds.  It is awesome to watch those little seeds turn into baby leaves in just a matter of days.

I did not do much soil preparation, I just added 1 bag of compost to each bed as I do every spring.

Something extra I did do this year that I’m super excited about was add some of Whitney Farms® Organic & Natural Plant Food.  After a few seasons of using my beds, I wanted to add just a little extra something to make sure my plants have all the nutrients they need to grow strong.  Whitney Farms® has little to no dust, has benefitial microbes, and is easy to apply.  It a protein based blend that proides plants with both macro and micronutrients to grow and thrive!

Having organic soil is a must for me, I refuse to add anything that is not organic to my beds, so this product was perfect for me.  I got both their all purpose plant food & their tomato & vegetable food.  I  love that they come in nice, reclosable bags.

I think my plants are looking strong and healthy, and seem to be growing at super speed this year.  We have had some great rain storms lately, so I am sure that has helped, plus of course, the organic plant food.
