My Goals For This Coming Week:

~ have an “eat from the pantry” week, to save money on groceries

~finish up laundry, get all put away

~make homemade eye makeup remover

~plan table decor for husbands work dinner

~continue to read new camera manual, major learning curve!

I’m thinking we need to eliminate since this keeps coming up on my to do list. Who needs all these clothes, anyway?

Author Karen Gerstenberger is giving away one copy of her book called “Because of Katie.”

This giveaway is one that is super close and dear to my heart. An important real life story of a girl named Katie, and her cancer diagnosis. The book takes you through her story, from diagnosis, treatment, surgery, recovery, relapse and beyond. It is a story by her mother, Karen Gerstenberger, told as only a Mother could.

I read it and could not put it down. I am so grateful to Karen, for sharing this with us here at New Nostalgia!
