Links I Like #5

Katie and her blog are simply–delightful.  Looking at her blogs always makes me feel like I am a child again, delighting in the simple, fun, colorful and quirky things that life brings.  This post was intriguing, who knew someone would have enough vision to make a dumpster into a pool fit for a country club?  Only in New York!

Free Daily Expenses Chart :: Frugal Mama
My husband keeps great track of our finances, but to see spending in chart form would be fascinating.
I think I will use it for a month and see what it reveals.  Anyone want to join me?  If so, comment below.  If I get enough interest, I will put up a link party where we can commit by linking up, and at the end of the month do another link party post our thoughts on the outcomes.

How To Store Different Sized Makeup Brushes :: Deliciously Organized
I love how simple and kind to the eye this blog is, must be those round buttons on the side that appeals to me!  I love this idea of storing makeup brushes, it ends up looking like a piece of art in my opinion.

The Key To A Good Photo :: Giver’s Log
I’ve read a few photography books, being the wanna be photographer that I am.  I’ve read some tips about lighting, but this post is by far the best practical advice I’ve read.  I am looking forward to reading more of the series.

Never Clean A Sippy Cup Again :: Small Notebook
Get this…she has “never experienced the 3 day old sippy cup sitting on the floor of the car with milk gunking up the straw!!”  Never!  If only I had this tip when I had little ones.  Even if you don’t have young kids,  it is worth the click over to see the most adorable little ones with eyes as big as saucers.

Cold Pasta-Sesame Soba Noodles :: Dinnercakes
School is about to start, and I find myself already dreading the whole “what do I pack for their lunch tomorrow?” thought process.  Here is one recipe I know I will use, my girls love noodles!

Marble Painting :: The Mother Huddle
I love simple craft projects like this.  Most ages would enjoy it, most people would have the supplies on hand, and it doesn’t take all afternoon.  Perfect!

Tropical Plant Fats :: Whole Health Source
Another reason why I use coconut oil, despite it’s high saturated fat content.
