April 24, 2011 at 10:38 amOkay. So no miracle – we have very flat but VERY tasty cookies this morning. But, my husband came clean and admitted that he opened the oven last night while I was putting the kids to bed. BOOO. They do taste good though. Happy Easter. He is risen. He is risen indeed!

April 23, 2011 at 11:53 pmWow! Thanks Amy – I’m so glad you liked the resurrection cookies I posted about. We just made them actually about an hour ago. We did everything the recipe said. We taped the oven shut and put the kids to bed. I think I should’ve practiced during the week, because I just turned the oven on and the cookies are flat as pancakes! 🙂 I have my doubts that they will be hollow tomorrow. whoops. I don’t think baking is my forte. I must not have beat the eggs into stiff enough peaks. Dangit. I think the buns with the marshmallow inside is more my baking speed. 🙂 other people have had luck with the resurrection cookies though. Maybe a miracle will occur overnight.
