Anti-Procrastination Tuesdays #4

Its tuesday again!

It has been a weird week around here.  Spring break for my girls and a weekend conference has thrown me a bit.  I was still able to get a few things done, but if you keep up with this blog, you will know that posting was not one of them!  I worry about summer–how am I going to find time to write??  I love to blog, but I refuse to sacrifice quality time with my girls…I guess that is a whole other post!

A couple things off my doozy list:
White board is hung
Routine charts made

Here are a few highlights from last week’s “AP Tuesdays”:

Our Lives-I love this blog!  We have much in common and have become great blogger friends. I love her approach to organizing, she does it in small steps but ends up getting so much done.  Last week she linked a post about organizing her spice cabinet, it looks great!  Her beautiful headers are reason enough to go visit her blog, but make sure you take some time to look around, there is much wisdom all throughout her posts.

Remodelholic-I have to admit, I was giddy when Cassidy from Remodelholic linked up.  I am a BIG fan of her site and have spent way too much time roaming her posts and drooling over her finished projects.  She shared a huge accomplishment last week at “AP Tuesdays”–turning a plain jane garage door into a very unique carriage type door.  If you head over there to visit, you must scroll down her sidebar to the “Learn Something New” area and check out some of her projects.

Give It A Whirl-Tracy linked up last week and made me smile.  She has her very own Doozy List (I personally like #6) and even named it that!:)  She has a great way of putting life into perspective, here is an example post, which I think all mom’s need to read and then ease up on ourselves! (isn’t her blog design very cool?)

Beauty Divine-my sister has done it again. She wrote a beautiful post with gorgeous pics, that reminds us all to not be consumed with perfection, and instead, to just keep on pressing on in what is important.  Here is a snippit…
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

What a great way to start off our 4th “Anti-Procrastination Tuesdays”!
(click here for more info of what its all about)

Here are the guidelines:
1. On Tuesdays each week, I’ll host the link party here at New Nostalgia.  You can come over and enter the permalink to your Anti-Procrastination post in my MckLinky List.

2. Be sure to insert a link in your post that directs others back here.  It could be my button at the side bar, or something like “This post is linked to “Anti-Procrastination Tuesdays” at New Nostaglia.

3. Be sure to link your posts url, not your blog url!

4. Link as many posts as you would like, as long as they have to do with this subject

5. Visit as many other links as you can for ideas, inspiration and to offer encouragement.

6. Leave comments for the links you visit just to let them know you are there (and so we can know there really ARE people out there committed to getting things done together, support matters!)

7. Come back each tuesday, post more of your accomplishments, and see some of the links featured from the week before.  You could be one of them!

Don’t forget to grab a button (its in my sidebar with code) to place at the top or bottom of your post to show you are participating in “Anti-Procrastination Tuesdays.”  Simply copy the code below in the box and paste where you can edit the html in your blog post.

And now, onto today’s “Anti-Procrastination Tuesday’s” Link Party!
Be inspired, be encouraged, and get something done!

    Hi Amy,
My first name is Jenny. Looked like I need to go fix the about me page. LOL! Did you like my quote on the routines? Rachel at small notebook inspired me to come up with that quote. 🙂
Yes, schedule posting is very helpful when you are on vacation but don’t want to lose your readers. Or, like me, I will schedule a post header to remind me what I want to blog about and set it at the time and date I want it to be posted. It gives me time to work on my post and my thoughts {remember blogging is my writing extending course?:)}. I am addicted to this wonderful little feature. You can find it on the bottom of your post page that said post option.

Our Lives-how do I know you this well and don’t know your first name???:) blogging is funny like that. post scheduling-is that where you write a bunch of posts at once then set them to automatically post at specific times??
Destri-you better find time! I am now co-dependent on you!!

Good morning Amy! Thank you for highlighting my blog. It has been fun to link up to your AP party. It has given me the right dose of motivation I needed to get things done.
About your summer or future posts, have you tried or considered post scheduling?
